PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
Theme: SCIENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY
Here is a step-by-step process to prepare for the participation:
STEP 1 | PREPARE YOUR RESEARCH QUESTION
- Identify any unsustainable practice prevailing in your locality (for example, single-use plastic or batteries, non-biodegradable packaging for fast foods, air / water pollutants, losing biodiversity, waste management….)
- Choose a Topic that interests you
- Discuss with Parents, Teachers, and Peers
- Convert the topic into a Research Question
STEP 2 | UNDERTAKE YOUR RESEARCH WORK
- Collect background information
- Form a Hypothesis
- Plan out your Experimental work to test the Hypothesis
- Conduct your Experiments
- Record the Data
- Draw Conclusions
- Add statistical and graphical representations
STEP 3 | PREPARE FOR THE PRESENTATION
- Prepare for an online Presentation in English / Hindi
- Use a maximum of SIX slides for your Presentation
- Rehearse your Presentation for a maximum of SIX minutes
- Get ready to make your presentation during August 2025
ABSTRACT
Abstract could be in English / Hindi, limited to a maximum of 250 words, and must contain the following:
- Introduction – describing the purpose of taking up this study
- Problem statement – including the hypothesis investigated
- Procedures – covering experimental design, materials used, and approach of investigation
- Results – to be expressed in quantitative terms
- Conclusions – providing solutions to the problem identified
